Where story begins—with soul.
Before I had the words, I had stories.
When my family immigrated to Canada, I didn’t yet speak the language—but I found something just as powerful in the pages of comic books and picture stories. In a quiet bookstore down the street, I learned that meaning could be drawn, not just spoken. That emotion could live in colour and shape, in silence and sequence. I would trace the panels with my fingers, lingering in the spaces between frames—because even there, I knew, something was being said.
That’s where it began: my lifelong love for storytelling.
As I found my voice in English, I never stopped paying attention to how stories are told. Not just through words, but through tone, image, rhythm, and restraint. I became obsessed with how we express identity—how a message can invite or alienate, how a caption can connect or misfire, how a brand, like a person, speaks volumes in what it chooses to say and not say.
My name is Alma—it means soul.
It’s a name I carry with reverence. It’s the thread that runs through everything I do. It’s why I built A Little Media Agency—not just as a brand, but as a reflection of who I am and what I believe:
That even the smallest stories can leave the deepest mark,
That soul belongs in strategy,
And that the right words, when chosen with care, can move people in powerful ways.
Today, with over seven years of experience in marketing, design, photography, and communications, I help brands find clarity, connection, and creative direction. Whether it’s launching something new, rediscovering something old, or defining what’s next—I bring a multidisciplinary approach rooted in heart, empathy, and intention.
I’ve worked across industries and mediums, but what sets my work apart isn’t just my skill set—it’s my lens. As an immigrant, a woman, and someone who has always lived in the in-between, I’ve learned to listen closely to nuance. I see the layers in people, in places, in brands. I believe the most powerful stories aren’t loud—they’re honest. And the most impactful brands are the ones that speak with people, not at them.
If you're here, you likely have a story too.
One that deserves to be told: With clarity. With creativity. With soul.
Let's tell it together.
